The original brick and timber building in San Francisco's South of Market District forms a comfortable backdrop for the light, spare elements of a digitally-inspired environment. The juxtaposition of historical periods produces an entry sequence that underscores the advanced capabilities of the business that inhabits the space.

A brother and sister own this building, built by their grandfather at the turn of the 20th century. The original freight elevator was stripped of its old finishes and permanently fixed to form the building entrance. Photos of the original builder hang in the vestibule leading through the frozen portal.
